CONTACT/FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you doing anything different for COVID-19?

Fellowship time/breakfast before Sunday school is being served. All food is pre-packaged and is served until 9:55AM. The service is at 11:00AM-which will still be broadcasted in the parking lot on 89.9FM if that is your preference. Sunday evenings are still at 6:00PM.

Do you have any activities for children?

Every generation is important and loved at Salem Baptist Church. Because we love children, we work hard to make them feel loved and important.  We incorporate them into every service.  Additionally, we have Sunday School classes for all ages including children.  We bring the children down front after the music service during Sunday morning worship for a children’s sermon. The Wednesday evening service is almost completely devoted to children and youth.  We love kids!

What kind of music can we expect?

We primarily sing traditional songs, but please do not interpret that to mean slow and somber.  On the contrary, our songs are a celebratory expression of worship and thankfulness to God for who He is and what He has done.

How are funerals and weddings handled at your church?

All scheduling and other arrangements for funerals and weddings will be handled by the pastor.

What is customary attire at your church?

Most members and visitors dress modestly and comfortably.   No one is looked down upon for their attire.

Do you have small group/Sunday School classes?

Yes, we have Sunday School classes for every age group.  Currently, the adults are using a variety of curriculum resources from Lifeway.  Children and youth are using Answers in Genesis curriculum for Sunday School and Wednesday evening classes.
